Mexico, Ca. 800 to 1000 AD. Carved veined jadeite depicting a classic Mixtec face with headdress, ear spools and limbs. Pierced at the sides and back for suspension. 2” H, intact. Good orignal polish, tiny flake near mouth, overall inclusions in stone and deposits and inclusions ion the stone. Custom mount included.
